The New York Times, Line-by-line

I am a fan of close readings, and this Chomsky-esque analysis of a New York Times article on drone strikes certainly fits the description.

The writers go through the article line-by-line and annotate the language, explaining its implicit biases and assumptions. Nineteen annotations for an article that was ~800 words.
